The Leitz 135mm f4.5 Hektor was the second version of the 13.5cm focal length Leica made for their rangefinder camreas. The Hektor was introduced in 1933 and produced for almost three decades until 1960. It features a simple "long lens" optical configuration of 4 elements in 3 groups with a 15-bladed aperture design that produces a circular opening at every f-stop. While not the most compact lens it is still fairly lightweight and easy to use. It has a close focus distance of 1.5m (4.9 feet) and uses standard Leica E39 filters.
This lens has the M39 thread mount and will work just fine with early Leica rangefinder cameras such as the Leica II and III series.
